"Machine Girl Fights Her Way Out of His Own Head"

"Listening to 'Gemini' the first time, most of the songs flew over my head as is usually the case with most first-time listens for me. I was pretty into 'Cloud99' and 'Missy Punk' since i had already heard them a bunch on their own, but one day i saw the title of this song at the very end of the tracklist and it's name just stuck in my head. Then i *really* listened to it and wondered how it never stuck out to me the first time. It's such a bizarre, mind-fucked song, it fits the sound of 'Gemini' while also managing to be it's own thing which makes it a great outro. There are a couple moments that are difficult, or honestly kinda painful, to listen to, but knowing me i grew to appreciate the pain. As of yet, i'm unable to put the experience of this track into words. I'd definitely give this track the credit of actually getting me to give the rest of the album another shot, and it's become one of my favorites."

"My friend Quak had got me into 'Mr. Kill Myself', and i was starting to see the appeal of breakcore as someone who had historically liked a lot of DnB. One day i was messing around on his computer and saw this song in his YouTube recommendations and it immediately grabbed hold of me and didn't let up for months. No joke, this was the start of one of the more violent downward spirals in my life that sent me back into therapy. The whole 'life-ruining' thing is a running joke, but it's easy to attribute some of the music on this page with some pretty fucked up times in my life. Is Sewerslvt responsible for this? Obviously not, but it's still funny to say so."

"Deep into my vaporwave / future funk phase (which came sometime after my synthwave phase, listed below somewhere), i was introduced to this track through the magic of YouTube autoplay, and subsequently the album '新しい日の誕生'. I feel like this song is a little overhyped for how little attention the rest of the tracklist gets in comparison, but i guess it makes sense with how the vibe is pretty different from the rest of the album. I almost feel a little guily for putting it here instead of the actual track titled '新しい日の誕生', since that's easily my favorite releaase out of everything from 2814, but without hearing this one i would've never found them."

"The song 'Airglow' by Laszlo got me really into the vaporwave / cyberpunk aesthetic in my freshman year of highschool (even though it's kinda neither) and one day i was listening to a synthwave mix on YouTube and heard this song. I went to go look it up and was shocked, not only from seeing nudity in an album art for the first time, but also because 'The Uncanny Valley' was also the name of the album the song was from and i immediately got jumpscared by the opening track 'Neo Tokyo'. The album quickly grew on me, as well as Perturbator's other works, becoming the anthem to my entire highschool career."

"This was the first thing I ever heard from DDS. I remember the name "Death's Dynamic Shroud" infiltrating my brain suddenly one day and I had to listen to this album. The album art is forever ingrained into my skull."
